>On Wednesday, August 5, 2009, the students of Club 180 agreed to commit to give of their own personal financial earnings (above their tithes) to provide for a young child in need and their family. Their desire is to make a global impact as a student ministry, therefore this is an exciting step in that direction.
>On Wednesday, August 12, 2009, we began a poll to decide the details of the child we would sponsor. Since the students are giving their own money, we wanted them to have a say in who is sponsored.
>On Wednesday, August 19, 2009, we partnered with Word Vision International to adopt / sponsor Fatima Muhe from Ethiopia!
*Be in prayer as we agreed that we would continue to give and build up the account. Once we get to 6 months in advance, we will pray about even more ways to provide for Fatima and her village. There are different ways we can provide safer and better living for them by providing resources like a well so Fatima no longer has to spend most of her day going to get water or a goat for the family.
